UNION STATION DRAWING

UNION STATION DRAWING

Materials:
-Sketch Pad
-Cork Back Ruler
-Pencils
-Pencil Crayons
-Canson Paper 11x14

The purpose of this project was to explore light. We had to go to union station, pick a spot where we found the light interesting and capture a photo. At home, use a pencil and ruler to make a neat sketch. We then had to copy the sketch onto Canson paper, then using different colours of pencil crayons- fill in the light.

I struggled with this project while copying the sketch onto canson paper, the only way to solve this problem was to draw the lines as hard as I could.

If I had more time I would have liked to use more colours in the final piece, maybe some orange, red, and brown tones.
Step 1: We had to explore light by drawing 3 objects using pencil crayons onto canson paper.
Step 2: Go to union station and capture a photo that has intriguing light.
Step 3: Print out the picture as Tabloid size (11x14).
Step 4: Sketch the photo using a pencil and cork back ruler.
Step 5: Trace the sketch onto canson paper, and colour using pencil crayons.
